I am an incoming PhD student in Statistical Science at Duke University. I did my undergraduate in Mathematics and Scientific Computing from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and I’m interested in exploring all things statistics. At IITK, I interned at the Decision Lab where I worked on analyzing the effect of acute stress on social decision making via a Penalty Shot game. I also worked with Prof. Dootika Vats on Bernoulli factories for Markov Chain Monte Carlo algorithms, and I am currently working with her, and Prof. Sakshi Arya on importance sampling kernel density estimation using MCMC samples.

I am an avid reader, and I enjoy travel, swimming, scrabble, and watching women’s artistic gymnastics.
